Job Title : Dynamic Sales and Marketing Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven sales professional to join our team at Virgin Active South Africa.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales enthusiast to take their career to the next level. As a sales consultant, you will be responsible for promoting Virgin Active as the preferred choice in the fitness industry. Your primary objective will be to achieve individual and club sales goals by generating new leads, booking appointments, and presenting our products to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop daily and monthly plans to maximize results and achieve sales targets.
  • Record activity inputs using our tools and systems, adhering to timelines and procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VASA products and competitors.
  • Expand customer base and strengthen loyalty through service calls, referrals, and network development.
  • Closure of sales by overcoming objections with support from the Sales Manager and/or Regional Sales Coach.
  • Report reviews and analyze objectives and planned activities to the Sales Manager.
  • Analyze sales data and statistics to plan effectively for future growth and increase sales.
  • Participate in sales meetings to share best practices and generate new leads.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Virgin Active by participating in local marketing opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Matric qualification essential.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales and Marketing preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in the sales industry.
  • Promotion and sales skills to sell Virgin Active products effectively.
  • Proven track record of sales performance.
  • Daily activity planning to maximize results.
  • Building and maintaining rapport with key customers and identifying new opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Confidence, politeness, and awareness of general industry matters.
  • Customer-centric approach.
  • Analysis of market trends and use of data to penetrate the market effectively.
  • Financial acumen and ability to understand sales budgets and calculate sales ratios.
  • Understanding and adherence to company systems and processes.
  • Exceptional client relationship building skills across all demographics.

Salary: R550,000 per annum (estimated based on location and experience).
