Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our team at Exceed Human Resource Consultants. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support to our clients in the areas of corporate law, commercial law, and real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of applicable laws, statutes, and legal precedents to provide informed legal opinions and advice.
  • Contract Drafting and Review: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of legal contracts and agreements, including commercial leases, purchase agreements, and other business-related documents.
  • Asset Management: Assist with the management of company assets, including real estate properties, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Corporate Governance: Provide advice on corporate governance matters, including board meetings, shareholder agreements, and other corporate-related issues.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the company is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to real estate, commercial transactions, and corporate governance.
  • Project Management: Assist in the coordination and implementation of projects related to corporate law, commercial law, and real estate transactions.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to provide timely and accurate legal advice and support.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Admitted Attorney, B.Comm. LLB or LLB degree.
  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in corporate, commercial, and/or real estate transaction environments, including landlord-tenant relations, development & construction, and permitting regulation.
  • Skills: Strong research and analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
