About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales and Customer Experience Manager to join our team in Boksburg. As a key player in our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring seamless shop operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly Over-The-Counter (OTC) revenue and order targets of approximately R250,000 per month based on industry standards and location.
  • Conduct high-volume telephone marketing and sales with a minimum of 50 calls per day to drive business growth.
  • Attract a minimum of 20 customers to the shop daily through effective customer engagement and outreach.
  • Generate and manage sales leads, identifying new and reactivated business opportunities to drive revenue expansion.
  • Provide proactive aftersales support and assist customers via email and phone, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Process orders efficiently, handle goods returned for credit, and support payment collections to maintain cash flow.
  • Manage inventory effectively, including stock orders, delivery follow-ups, and shop display updates to ensure an optimal shopping experience.
  • Perform visual merchandising and optimize the shopping experience to enhance customer engagement and sales.
  • Maintain accurate stock records, conduct regular stock takes, and manage surplus/slow-moving items to minimize waste and maximize profits.
  • Oversee general shop maintenance, analyze sales reports, and coordinate Customer Days to drive business growth and customer engagement.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and perform additional ad-hoc duties as required to meet business needs.

Requirements:

  • Matric or equivalent qualification as a minimum requirement.
  • Reside within 15 km of Boksburg to ensure timely attendance and minimal commuting time.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (additional South African languages are advantageous).
  • Sales-oriented, goal-driven, and self-motivated individual with a high level of commitment and strong work ethic.
  • Proficient in computer applications (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel), with SAP experience being a significant advantage.
  • Quick learner with a strong sense of responsibility and product knowledge relevant to the industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales and/or customer service experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Reliable transportation and clear disciplinary, criminal, and credit records are essential requirements.
