Multiskill Operator

Job Title: Multiskill Operator - Heavy Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multiskill Operator to join our team at Fraser Alexander Ltd. in Limpopo. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for operating heavy equipment and ensuring a safe working environment.

About the Role:

• The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of machines, including graders, ADTs, excavators, and FELs, to perform tasks such as loading, digging, and cleaning trenches or ditches.
• They will also be expected to ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed at all times and maintain a high level of housekeeping.
• In addition, they will be responsible for inspecting the machine before and after each shift and completing inspection checklists.

Requirements:

• A Grade 12 qualification and MQA Accredited certificates in Grader, ADT, Excavator, and FEL operations are required.
• A valid Code 10 driver's license is also necessary.

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in operating heavy equipment in a tailings or similar environment is required.

Skills and Qualities:

• Excellent verbal communication skills are essential.
• The ability to understand and identify unsafe conditions and behavior is crucial.
• Familiarity with engineering/technical jobs is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of R550,000 - R700,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical aid, retirement funding, and life insurance.
