Nursing Team Lead Position

Faircape Health offers a dynamic work environment that prioritizes delivering exceptional care to our residents. We are seeking a highly skilled Nursing Team Lead to join our team at our facility in the Southern Suburbs.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, supervising, and inspiring our nursing team to provide outstanding physical, social, and emotional support to all residents. Key duties include:
- Leading and guiding the nursing team to achieve daily performance goals
- SUPPORTING AND GUIDING THE TEAM TO ACHIEVE DAILY PERFORMANCE GOALS
- Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
- Providing training to both new and current staff
- Identifying training needs within the department
- Maintaining up-to-date internal procedural training plans
- Overseeing smooth and efficient daily operations
- Ensuring staff are presentable and well-groomed at all times
- Planning and preparing employee work schedules
- Ensuring records of carer tasks completed are up-to-date
- Assisting with weekly checklists of patient bells and panic buttons
- Conducting daily morning briefings
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans
- Responding promptly to emergency situations
- Engaging with carer staff on performance and personnel matters
- Conducting quality checks to maintain a supportive environment
- Reporting concerns to management
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong track record in a supervisory role. The ideal candidate will possess:style='list-style-type:disc'>Grade 12 qualificationProven experience in a supervisory positionPrecise and reliable reporting skillsExceptional leadership and managerial abilitiesStrong conflict resolution capabilitiesAbility to guide and support team membersDemonstrated adaptability and flexibility in various situationsResponsibility and accountabilityExcellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesWillingness to engage directly with residents as neededAbility to motivate and inspire team membersSkilled in managing departmental matters with strict confidentialityAccurate adherence to instructions and protocolsOutstanding interpersonal skillsProficient in computer useProfessional demeanour and etiquetteAbility to perform well under pressure
Compensation and Benefits
The salary on offer is from R18,000 per month (Cost to Company). Additional benefits include:
- Quarterly bonuses based on individual performance and company performance

Working Hours
You will be required to work 16.25 shifts per month, Monday to Sunday night shifts from 19h00 until 07h00.
