Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and assess the nursing needs of patients
  • Prepare patient assignments and consult with other health team members to coordinate care
  • Promote customer satisfaction and assume the role of patient advocate
  • Make recommendations for hiring, firing, and performance appraisals for nursing staff
  • Develop and monitor guidelines for patient care standards

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years experience as a staff nurse and currently registered under the laws of the State of New York as a Nurse
  • 3+ years of Nursing Supervisory experience with good organizational and communication skills
  • BSN degree or national professional certification preferred
