Council Liaison Specialist Job Opportunity in Johannesburg

We are seeking a highly skilled Government Liaison Coordinator to join our team at the City of Johannesburg.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide direction, develop, and facilitate the movement of information between the legislature, the Department, and the MMC. The successful candidate will proactively manage the relations between the MMC, the department, and the legislature.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute project planning process to inform the business unit business planning process;
  • Optimize and improve processes to increase efficiency;
  • Manage council liaison activities effectively;
  • Control and manage assets and resources;
  • Ensure effective governance and risk management;
  • Monitor and report on Directorate performance;
  • Perform general administrative tasks.
Requirements

What We Offer

The City of Johannesburg offers a competitive salary package including an estimated R250,000 - R350,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
