Job Summary

A skilled Boilermaker is required to join our team at Midvaal Recruitment. The successful candidate will possess advanced knowledge and skills in boiler and pressure vessel construction, maintenance, and repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advanced Blueprint Reading and Planning: Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute projects.
  • Precision Fabrication and Assembly: Perform precise cutting, shaping, and welding of materials to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Complex Maintenance and Repair: Diagnose and solve complex issues related to boilers and pressure vessels, including leaks, structural weaknesses, and inefficient operation.
  • Specialized Installation and Fieldwork: Oversee the installation of boilers and tanks on-site, ensuring all work complies with design specifications and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Formal training and certification in boilermaking.
  • Experience in boiler and pressure vessel construction, maintenance, and repair.
  • Advanced knowledge of metal fabrication and welding techniques.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate: R80 - R95 per hour.
