About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven External Sales and Service Advisor to join our team in Durban. As an External Sales and Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver value-added solutions that meet customer needs and aspirations, while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Execute your work in accordance with organisational values and code of ethics, ensuring high-quality outputs and compliance with governance standards.
  • Identify and escalate risks as part of your normal work routine, contributing to a safe and secure working environment.
  • Produce accurate and timely work by adhering to predefined standards, procedures, and compliance standards.
  • Work collaboratively to maintain operational efficiencies through enhanced processes and procedures.
  • Deliver consistent results by meeting quality standards, turnaround times, and company policies and procedures.
  • Drawing on your knowledge and experience, identify and develop solutions to improve service delivery and quality.
  • Complete relevant administration, reporting, and updating of information accurately and on time.
  • Achieve sales targets aligned with performance scorecards and maintain an acceptable cost of sales ratio through pipeline management and sales quality.
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales revenue and grow the organisational client base while containing costs.
  • Assist in retaining or signing unbanked customers to improve profitability.
  • Maximise sales by selling packaged financial solutions to clients.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of FirstRand-approved products, application procedures, fulfillment processes, and timelines to drive relevant sales targets.
  • Maximise cross-selling opportunities and drive adoption of digital and other self-service options across the client base.
  • Contribute to teamwork and inclusivity within your team and contribute to cost efficiencies through responsible utilisation of work-related resources.
  • Achieve expected financial targets and uphold associated service levels.
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships and deliver customer service through adherence to quality service standards.

Requirements:

  • The ability to provide a positive customer experience and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to achieve sales targets and deadlines.
  • In-depth knowledge of FirstRand-approved products, application procedures, fulfillment processes, and timelines.
  • The ability to maximise cross-selling opportunities and drive adoption of digital and other self-service options.
