Procurement Coordinator Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Demand Management Officer to join our team. This role will involve coordinating the integration of the procurement plan, collecting information from relevant stakeholders, and facilitating bid specification committee meetings.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the review, collection, and collation of information for the annual procurement plan.
- Integrate the procurement plan by ensuring all necessary components are in place.
- Collect information from relevant stakeholders using prescribed templates.
- Coordinate and facilitate Bid Specification Committee Meetings to ensure smooth decision-making processes.
- Prepare the BSC annual calendar/rooster and distribute it to internal stakeholders as required, along with the LDS.
- Draft appointment letters for Bid Specification committee members.
- Manage Requisition Administration by receiving purchase requests, confirming budget availability, and recording all received requests.
- Perform administrative functions related to procurement, including maintaining Bids/RFQs Register and assisting with RFQ document compilation/review.
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- A diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Business/Public Management-related qualification.
- At least 3 years of administrative experience, with 2 years specifically in supply chain management.
The estimated salary for this position is R450,000 - R550,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
