Agricultural Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Agricultural Compliance Specialist to join our team at Farm Manager SA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with GlobalG.A.P., SIZA, and all Export regulations on the farm. This includes developing and implementing an effective compliance program, conducting regular audits to identify potential risk areas, and interpreting and advising on regulatory requirements and internal policies.

This role is ideal for an individual with in-depth knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements relevant to GlobalG.A.P. & SIZA, as well as proven experience as a Compliance Officer or similar role.

• Ensure compliance with GlobalG.A.P., SIZA (Ethical and Environmental), and all Export regulations on the farm.
• Develop and implement an effective compliance program.
• Conduct regular compliance audits to identify potential risk areas.
• Interpret and advise on regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Create and maintain compliance documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and update company policies accordingly. Provide compliance training to employees to raise awareness.
• Investigate and resolve compliance issues or violations.
• Farm Health & Safety rep all duties associated.

• Grade 12 and 2+ years relevant experience.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements relevant to GlobalG.A.P. & SIZA.
• Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or similar role.
• Logistics Knowledge advantageous.
• Advanced computer literacy.
• Health & Safety knowledge in the agricultural sector is essential.
• First Aid is essential.

R750,000 - R1,000,000 per annum, based on location and industry standards.
