About the Role

We are looking for a professional nurse with advanced critical care skills to fill this exciting opportunity. The successful candidate will have a Degree or Diploma in Nursing, a valid SANC registration as a Professional Nurse, and a Critical Care Diploma. Experience working in an intensive care setting is essential, as is the ability to handle complex medical cases with a calm and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, prioritizing their needs and providing individualized attention.
  • Monitor and manage patient conditions, including administering medication and treatments, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times, promoting a positive and empathetic care environment.
  • Document all care activities accurately and in compliance with healthcare regulations, adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a safe clinical environment.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Nursing with a valid SANC registration as a Professional Nurse.
  • Critical Care Diploma and significant experience in an intensive care setting.
  • Proven ability to handle complex medical cases with a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities to make informed decisions and prioritize patient care.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
