Job Overview

The Genesis Analytics is seeking a highly skilled Human Development Practice Coordinator to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Development practice, encompassing areas such as human resources, commercial success, meeting and events, travel, finance administration, relationship management, and support to Partners and Senior Management Team (SMT).

About the Role
  • This position requires a blend of administrative expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and effective communication skills to ensure the practice runs smoothly.
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in a consultancy, preferably in the international development sector, and a Bachelor's degree in a Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to Partners and SMTs in the management of the Human Development Practice as necessary.
  • Provide general practice support including filing system maintenance, subcontractor database management, and ad hoc project proposal support.
  • Support meetings, functions, and events by setting up and running HD practice-wide meetings, taking minutes, and circulating them appropriately.
  • Manage Zoom conferencing account for seamless video conferences and coordinate organizing team building activities and managing practice events.
  • In collaboration with Genesis' travel agent, assist staff travel arrangements, provide support to the programme team, and compile travel risk forms.
  • Support human resources processes including updating induction materials, setting up induction sessions, and coordinating YPP recruitment processes.
  • Coordinate approvals and signing of key documents by Partners, maintain client and subcontractor contracts, and ensure company-wide processes are adhered to.
  • Provide finance administration support including timesheet management, staff claims, payment processing, and guidance on the HD staff completion of timesheets.
Requirements
  • Candidates must be passionate, self-motivated, and energetic problem-solvers who value integrity and exhibit ethical behavior.
  • An analytical thinker with an excellent academic record, ability to prioritize, organize, coordinate, and multitask, work independently using initiative, and possess high level discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in the use of Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office and other hybrid working tools, comfortable working with team members in a hybrid and remote team environment based in different countries and time zones.
Salary

Roughly R500,000 per annum based on local market conditions and comparable roles within the industry.
