Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team at Headhunters. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with Windows Server Management and Linux System Management, and have experience in technical roles with increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Windows Server infrastructure, ensuring high uptime and performance.
  • Implement and maintain Linux System Management policies and procedures.
  • Provide DNS Management services, including setup and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor multiple databases, file permissions, and systems according to standard operating procedures.
  • Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, security, and networks.
  • Assist with database management, applications, websites, and publications.
  • Participate in projects to ensure smooth transitions from development to live environments.
  • Perform SQL server management and administration.
  • Manage physical server racks, including cable management, documentation, labeling, and configuration of switching for console and remote access.
  • Provide technical support for all hardware and software.
  • Configure and operate Operating Systems.
  • Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments.
  • Deploy and configure hardware upgrades, software updates, security patches, and other necessary items as needed.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations following best practices.
  • Produce technical documentation to agreed quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues.
  • Develop reports in response to management needs.
  • Document, create, and maintain internal procedures.
  • Recommend improvements to existing processes, procedures, policies, and systems.
  • Configure, test, and monitor backups to ensure continuity and minimal data loss.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 1-3 years' experience in Windows Server Management and Linux System Management.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in a technical role with increasing responsibility.
  • Experience in the Software Development industry.
  • Knowledge of C# and C++ languages.
  • Ability to write scripts.
  • Knowledge of server hardware.
  • Experience in backups.
  • Experience with SQL databases.
Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
