Job Title/Position: ITS Project Manager Number of Positions: 1 Function and Business Unit: Infrastructure - ITS Description of the Role and Purpose of the Job: To effectively collaborate with business owners of projects to define project requirements, scope, and objectives; to understand business needs, map them to existing tools, standards, and architecture, and develop suitable solutions; to then manage the planning, design, and development phases of the project in accordance with KPMG's project management methodology; to engage with ITS and vendors on project-related aspects; and to provide regular project activity updates within their responsibility. Key Responsibilities: • Participate in prioritizing the IT project portfolio to ensure business and IT value, and manage risk. • Manage projects and programs to ensure timely delivery, within budget, and meeting functional requirements and quality standards, while adhering to KPMG information security standards. • Lead projects from initiation to deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, risk management, and project plans. • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments. • Prepare and obtain approval for all required project documentation. • Establish and maintain relationships with client stakeholders, providing regular project status updates and changes. • Report project outcomes and/or risks to management channels when necessary, escalating issues as required based on project work plans. • Work on multiple projects within the ITS project portfolio simultaneously. • Manage vendors on projects, including contracting and onboarding relevant service providers. Skills and Attributes Required for the Role: Skills: • Project management skills. • Previous success in delivering software and infrastructure projects. • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines. • Proven success in communicating at all levels of management. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Preference for applying project governance. • Good organizational skills to ensure effective planning and prioritization. • Understanding of both business processes and technology, and ability to map and translate between these domains. • Knowledge of project management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices, as well as project management tools. • Ability to create detailed project schedules and all required project documentation. Minimum Requirements to Apply for the Role (Including Qualifications and Experience): • Professional certification - including PMP/PRINCE II/PRAXIS/AgilePM. • 5-8 years of project management experience.
