Job Title: Recruitment Strategist for Talent Acquisition

Blue Label Telecoms is seeking an experienced Recruitment Strategist to lead our Talent Acquisition efforts in Gauteng, Johannesburg.

Estimated Salary: R1 200 000 per annum

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and innovative Recruitment Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies that align with our business objectives.

You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and provide guidance on recruitment processes. Your expertise will help us attract top talent and build a strong employer brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies that meet our business objectives
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand and align recruitment needs with business goals
  • Manage recruitment processes, including initial assessments and interviews
  • Provide recruitment guidance and advice to HR professionals using employment and hiring data
  • Align TA strategy to the overall Talent Management strategy
  • Identify bottlenecks in the recruitment process
  • Manage the Employee Referral Program
  • Align recruitment strategies to the Employment Equity Plan
  • Use available recruitment tools and recommend new tools to enhance the recruitment process
  • Determine recruitment KPIs and create reporting metrics to measure success and identify gaps
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends to continually optimize the recruitment process

Employer Brand:

You will contribute to the development and enhancement of our organization's employer brand to attract top talent. This includes developing marketing campaigns to appeal to qualified recruits, organizing and attending career fairs, performing candidate and employee satisfaction evaluations, suggesting measures for improving employee retention, encouraging employees to be brand ambassadors, and investigating and determining employee needs.

Lead TA Team:

You will take full responsibility for the performance of all direct reports, motivating and managing them in relation to quality standards and agreed benchmarks and objectives, focusing on all aspects of sound people management. You will provide support and guidance on career path planning, on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring to direct reports. You will develop, promote, and direct the implementation of equal opportunities policies in all aspects of the company's work. You will communicate and maintain trust relationships with all relevant stakeholders, role model behavior, and motivate team members in line with the core values.

Self-Management:

You will maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media. You will follow through to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintained. You will demonstrate consistent application of internal procedures. You will plan and prioritize, demonstrating abilities to manage competing demands. You will demonstrate abilities to anticipate and manage change. You will demonstrate flexibility in balancing achievement of own objectives with abilities to understand and respond to organizational needs.

Job Requirements:

We require a relevant Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of working experience with 3+ years of leading a Recruitment Team. You must have a proven track record of leading the Talent agenda in an independent capacity, mastery of LinkedIn Recruiter, and experience consulting, presenting, and communicating with executives and all levels of key stakeholder partnerships. Experience working with Psychometric Assessments is also essential.
