Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordination Specialist to join our team. As a Purchasing Coordination Specialist, you will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, onboarding new vendors, and ensuring seamless communication between suppliers, internal departments, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor documents on the system.
  • Vendor onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new vendors, ensuring a smooth transition into our supply chain.
  • RFQ management: Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare and launch RFQs, aligning with company requirements.
  • Contract management: Update all contracts in the system with expiration dates, ensuring timely renewals.
  • Stakeholder communication: Facilitate effective communication between suppliers, internal departments, and customers, resolving any issues promptly.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Identify potential suppliers, build relationships with existing suppliers, and maintain accurate supplier base records.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as creating purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Participate in cost savings initiatives, contributing to the company's bottom line.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing Management, or Logistics Management.
  • 0-1-year experience in purchasing or a related field.
  • Strong desire and motivation to develop a career in purchasing coordination.
  • Proactive approach to tasks, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Computer literacy, with proficiency in relevant software systems.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
