Overview of Abantu Staffing Solutions
We are a staffing solutions company based in the fuel supply industry seeking an experienced Temp Receptionist/Admin Support Assistant to join our team.
Estimated Salary: R20,000 - R30,000 per month
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing reception duties, and performing various administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving and directing visitors, as well as responding to telephone calls and emails in a professional manner
- Ensuring the reception area is tidy and maintained at all times, including arranging for teas and coffees for visitors
- Providing information to callers and dealing with queries from the public and customers
- Courier control, including receiving and sorting mail and deliveries
- Managing car rental bookings and stationery orders
- Preparing letters and documents as requested, as well as assisting with planning and coordinating boardroom bookings
- General administrative and clerical support as required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Grade 12/Matric qualification or equivalent
- Admin qualification or similar experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
- Computer literacy with relevant software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Switchboard
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong customer service principles and practices
