Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to join our team at Sybrin. As a key member of our Service Delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our software solutions in customer environments.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be pivotal in maintaining production stability, preventing recurring incidents, and resolving complex technical issues. Your role will involve working closely with customers, colleagues, and management to deliver high-quality solutions and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure seamless operational environments for customers by proactively identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Manage incident tickets, adhering to SLA standards and quality expectations.
  • Leverage your expertise to provide guidance and support to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and growth within the team.
  • Set the standard for technical and professional interactions with customers, fostering strong relationships and trust.
  • Assume leadership roles, taking ownership of key functions and initiatives, and contributing to the development of best practices.
Critical Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated expertise in programming languages (C#, Angular, Typescript, MS SQL, POSTGRESQL).
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure and networking concepts, including cloud hosted solutions.
  • Experience with IIS, web services, and customer service mindset/ITIL principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be around $90,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
