Job Title: Corporate Training Officer
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Corporate Training Officer at VKB Group. This role is responsible for providing administrative support to the SHEQ Department, ensuring the timeous execution of admin functions related to internal training.
Responsibilities include monitoring training and resource requests, liaising with delegates for internal and external courses, typing, amending, photocopying, laminating, and binding training materials needed for courses. Additionally, you will be responsible for index and filing videos, books, and third-party training materials, building a training library of resources.
Liaising with third-party training providers to book courses, collating and reporting statistics on training activity, preparing training rooms in advance of all training courses, populating and maintaining company training/skills records. You will also be responsible for updating and maintaining the Training and Evaluation Database, filing training programs/group attendance registers after uploading on the Database.
As a Corporate Training Officer, you will provide feedback to the Training Officer regarding outstanding refreshers and evaluations, assist with arranging for re-training where necessary, to improve performance. Ensuring all relevant information and documentation related to evaluations and refreshers conducted in the Plant are received and captured on the internal database.
You will also be responsible for assisting Internal Trainers with the printing of evaluation and refreshers documentation, ensuring all training manuals, attendance registers, as well as all relevant training documentation are printed/bound prior to training. Liaising with the Procurement Dept regarding the replenishment of training material/stock.
Maintaining and managing all stock levels related to stationery and refreshments, maintaining Stationary cabinet and reporting on stock levels on a monthly basis. Capturing all related information on the company system as required by policy. Understanding all company systems available for use as part of the internal Training Dept.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in administration, excellent communication skills, and experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, troubleshooting expertise, and attention to detail are essential qualities for this role.
Able to converse clearly and concisely over the phone, and face-to-face, must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong communication and presentation abilities, analytical thinking and decision-making abilities, accuracy and attention to detail, good reporting skills, planning and organizing skills.
