About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Marketing Manager to join our team at Discovery Limited. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven marketing professional to lead and manage our marketing efforts.

Job Description
  • This role will involve partnering with business units to develop and implement integrated marketing strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure delivery of marketing projects on time and within budget.
  • You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior business colleagues and external partners.
  • In addition, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing campaigns, including advertising, promotional programs, and content creation.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the marketing landscape, with experience in leading teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure delivery of marketing projects on time and within budget.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior business colleagues and external partners.
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns, including advertising, promotional programs, and content creation.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform marketing strategy and campaign development.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • A relevant Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communications, or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 6-8 years' experience in a marketing role, preferably in the financial industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in managing a team of marketing professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
