Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of product knowledge information, including product catalogs, price sheets, and promotions.
  • Market all products sold and suggest replacement or alternative products as needed.
  • Meet sales targets and contribute to the growth of the sales team.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in the electrical industry and/or knowledge of electrical products required.
  • Strong mathematical ability and basic familiarity with computer software.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats.
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, including the ability to plan and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Physical Requirements:

This is a safety-sensitive position, and the ability to work in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner is imperative. The Counter Sales Person must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods, use a computer keyboard and monitor, and lift and transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 70 pounds.
