At HR Genie, we are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our team in a permanent position. The ideal candidate will have a related degree and 3-5 years of experience in a compliance function in the financial services industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all employees understand the compliance policies and relevant laws and regulations. This includes developing and delivering training programs on compliance-related topics.

The Compliance Officer will also be responsible for acting as the point of contact for compliance-related questions and building strong relationships with financial advisors. They will provide clear and accessible guidance to employees and financial advisors on compliance matters.

The Compliance Officer will also be responsible for promoting a culture of compliance and ethical behavior within the company. This includes developing and implementing a compliance coverage plan based on the approved regulatory framework.

The Compliance Officer will also be responsible for ensuring that license profile changes are submitted timeously to the Regulator. They will also conduct monitoring as per the agreed compliance coverage plan and monitor and maintain all compliance registers.

The Compliance Officer will also be responsible for assisting the Compliance Manager with any compliance project and assisting with reporting to the regulator and other industry bodies.

The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve compliance objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory risk management and be able to develop and implement effective compliance strategies.
