Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Sydsen in George, Western Cape. This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to our project managers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the reception area, including handling incoming calls, welcoming visitors, and distributing messages.
  • Operate the switchboard, answer calls, take messages, and update the computer system as necessary.
  • Schedule meetings on the Outlook Calendar, archive files, and arrange courier services when required.
  • Assist with typing documents, creating spreadsheets, and capturing online Certificates of Compliance (COCs).
  • Organize kick-off meetings, take minutes, and follow up on outstanding tasks.
  • Prepare quotes using the accounting system and manage stationery and office supplies.
Requirements:
  • Mandatory Matric qualification.
  • A qualification in Finance or Administration is advantageous.
  • Intermediate level computer skills, specifically Windows, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Strong communication and administration skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Friendly demeanor and good numerical skills.
  • Ability to cope with pressure and work effectively in a team environment.
