About the Role

Delaire (Pty) Ltd is seeking a skilled Demi-Chef De Partie to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining health and safety standards, and ensuring the highest quality of dishes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare and store ingredients in a clean and organized manner.
  • Monitor and maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of menu items, daily features, and promotions.
  • Ensure all work areas, utensils, and equipment are clean and well-maintained.
  • Communicate effectively with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff.

Requirements

  • Culinary certificate or diploma.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Demi-Chef De Partie.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
