Nursing Unit Manager Position in Western Cape

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Unit Manager to join our team at Melomed Private Hospitals in the Western Cape. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the nursing staff to ensure effective delivery of patient care services
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of nursing practice
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and mentoring to nursing staff
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required by regulatory bodies
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Nursing, with a specialization in Critical Care General
- At least five years of experience in a leadership position in an ICU setting
- Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) and proof of indemnity cover
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Pleasant disposition and ability to work under pressure
Salary: R1 200 000 - R1 500 000 per annum, depending on experience
