Business Growth Sales Specialist

Main Responsibilities:
The Sales Development Manager for Conferences will be responsible for growing Delegate sales across our conference portfolios by generating leads, communicating with conference delegates, and closing their participation on our various conference campaigns taking place annually.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Achievement of sales revenue targets within timelines
- Number of effective calls or client meetings made per week
- Delegates satisfaction levels
- Timely & accurate reporting of sales results and activities
Job Requirements:
- Sell delegate packages to existing or new clients, in accordance with set targets to ensure the revenue budget is achieved and exceeded
- Exceed sales revenue targets for each event project and introduce new revenue from as wide a pool of potential clients
- Maintain excellent customer relations and have a thorough understanding of the markets in which you are selling as well as the client's customer base
- Work in a team environment cross-functionally and identify specific issues of interest
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling on other campaigns for colleagues
Reporting:
Provide the Event Director with weekly report detailing personal activities and forecast, data capture of sales activities/calls and updating the CRM, completion of sales progress reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to enable senior management to be updated on the progress of the events.
This role reports directly to the Executive Director for Business Development and works closely with all departments including marketing, production, customer service, operations, and database teams.
