The Cleaner and Basic Admin Employee is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness across designated areas, as well as providing basic administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the office environment. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can efficiently handle cleaning tasks while also assisting with basic administrative duties as required.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Cleaning Duties**:

- Perform regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
- Empty and clean waste bins and dispose of trash in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including kitchens, break rooms, and meeting rooms.
- Ensure that cleaning supplies are adequately stocked and report any maintenance issues or supply needs to the appropriate personnel.

**Basic Administrative Support**:

- Assist with basic office administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and processing mail and packages.
- Assist with organizing and scheduling meetings, appointments, and events as needed.
- Provide support with data entry and maintaining electronic and physical records.
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in maintaining office supplies inventory and placing orders when necessary.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience in cleaning and maintenance tasks preferred.
- Basic understanding of administrative procedures and office equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent command of the English language, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping roles is desirable.
- Experience in basic administrative tasks is an advantage but not required.

**Working Conditions**:

- This position may require standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and reaching.
- Work hours may vary depending on the needs of the organization, including occasional weekends or evenings.
- The role may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals and other substances, so adherence to safety protocols is essential.
