- Responsible for the overall success of the business. Develop and lead the business strategy, optimise business operating capabilities, employ practices to maximise customer satisfaction, and manage marketing/sales initiatives that drive revenues and profits. Manage budgets, financial reporting, and controls, creating processes to safeguard assets, drive profitability, and ensure regulatory compliance**Requirements**:

- Post-graduate qualification in Finance or Business Management
- Professional designation (CA, Attorney, Actuary)
- Preferred:

- Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
- Registered KI
- 10+ yrs. exp in the tied agency industry
- 5+ yrs. exp in managing tied agencies within financial services
- 5+ yrs. leading the establishment and development of a provincial, national footprint of financial advisers

**Duties & Responsibilities**

**(Internal Process)**:

- Ensures overall ongoing growth and sustainability of MFP through a well-crafted and engaging value proposition to advisers
- Design, cultivate, implement and deliver on the channel growth strategy through execution of the MFP business strategy
- Setting the standards

- Channel expansion and growth

- Overarching measurement and adjustment
- Ensures effective stakeholder management across Momentum Advice, Momentum Group, Business relationship in industry, Product suppliers, Service providers and outsource providers.
- Business management, governance framework and risk management, regulatory and statutory reporting, operational excellence, brand and marketing strategy
- Capitalize on any major growth or expansion opportunities
- Oversee and drive vertical integration
- Successfully introduce and drive digital transformation to ensure innovative growth, seamless business practices and ease of business
- Drive the creation and implementation of the business’s strategic policies and plans.
- Ensure adviser value proposition, client value proposition and employee value proposition are realised through sound practice expansion and the appropriate engagement/experience methodology
- Accountable for the creation of an operations plan that aligns to and supports the business’ strategy, goals and objectives.
- Ensure the alignment of operational departments / functional teams into a collaborative group that focuses on achieving goals and continuous improvement.
- Accountable for delivery on service level agreements applicable to adviser, clients and internal and external stakeholders to ensure client expectations are managed.
- Review and provide direction for updated and new operations policies (e.g., pricing, new products, training) to continuously improve advise and sales impact.
- Oversee the development of initiatives that will continuously improve MFP sales and advice delivery capability.
- Review and provide direction for changes to optimise organisational processes, systems, policies and procedures.
- Oversee the implementation of practices and processes which will build delivery excellence
- Regularly review progress via management reporting developed and delivered by Executive team.
- Accountable for the implementation of corporate governance, compliance, integrity and ethics policies in multiple practice areas to identify and manage risk exposure liability.
- Lead the executive team of the business, maintaining an understanding of issues affecting overall business effectiveness and collaborating towards setting strategic direction.
- Drive the achievement of growth targets, management of margins and expenses

**Drive a client-centric culture **(Client Services)**:

- Define and influence advice and sales models across functions to ensure continued growth, client satisfaction, value chain integration and optimisation.
- Drive an aligned client service excellence culture, which enables rewarding relationships, allows team to provide exceptional client service through advice and ensures that clients are treated fairly.
- Drive efforts to better understand client requirements and align service offering with client needs
- Strategically direct service delivery to meet internal and external customer after sales needs, expectations and targets.
- Influence and guide the delivery of key capabilities.
