Barista

You will be responsible for general coffee shop duties:

- Ensure the restaurant is ready for opening at 07h00
- Front of house area to be clean and presentable at all times
- Preparing and serving top-quality beverages
- Delivering excellent service and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints, and report immediately to management
- Cleaning and sanitising work areas, utensils and equipment
- Cleaning of seating area
- Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers
- Upselling
- Ordering, receiving and distributing stock supplies
- Receiving and processing customer payments
- Good communication between yourself and members of your team
- Communicate any special orders or requests to the chef
- Ensure all sales has gone through the POS for every shift
- Accurate stocktake to be done once a month, last day of the month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Midrand, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Barista: 3 years (required)
