Head Barista

Are you passionate about coffee and enjoy creating exceptional coffee experiences? We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic barista to join our mobile specialty coffee shop team. If you have a love for artisan coffee, excellent customer service skills, this may be the perfect opportunity for you

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcome customers, answer questions, and accept orders and payments.
- Dialing in coffee grinder and coffee recipes
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality hot and cold coffee beverages, as well as tea and other beverages.
- Serve baked goods.
- Provide excellent customer service, engage with customers to understand their preferences and make personalized recommendations, while efficiently managing the flow of orders.
- Sell coffee blends, highlighting the differences between items, and educating customers.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, ensuring cleanliness, sanitation and adherence to safety standards.
- Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed, ensuring efficient use of space within the mobile coffee bar.
- Update signage and displays to attract customers.
- Handle POS and cash transactions, and maintain accurate records of sales.

**Requirements**:
Trained and qualified Barista (SCA or equivalent)
Minimum 1 year work experience (as a barista). Good latte art skills a plus.

MUST RESIDE IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO Garsfontein, Pretoria. RELIABLE TRANSPORT.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional listening and communication skills. (written and spoken)
- A polite, engaging personality and a commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Training and willingness to continue learning about beverage preparation.
- Ability to thrive in a high-energy, efficient, fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work during peak hours, including evenings, early mornings,weekends, and/or holidays.
