**Duties and Responsibilities**
- **Patrolling and Monitoring**: Regularly patrols the premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
- **Surveillance**: Monitors security cameras and alarms to detect any suspicious activities.
- **Reporting**: Documents daily activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports.
- **Access Control**: Manages entry and exit points to ensure only authorized personnel enter the premises.
**Skills and Qualifications**
- **Attention to Detail**: Must be vigilant and attentive to notice any unusual activities.
- **Communication Skills**: Needs to effectively communicate with law enforcement, emergency services, and the public.
- **Physical Fitness**: Often requires walking or standing for long periods.
- **Stress Management**: Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
**Work Environment**
- **Static**: Watchmen are stationed at a fixed locations and patrolling by foot.
- **Shifts**: Work 3 days, 3 nights and 3 off rotations.
