Chief Electrician

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Chief Electrician to join our client's team in the Mining Industry. As the Chief Electrician, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the electrical operations within the mining site.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and supervise a team of electricians
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate electrical maintenance and repair activities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Conduct inspections and audits to identify and address electrical issues
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems and breakdowns
- Implement preventive maintenance programs
- Provide technical support and guidance to the electrical team
- Monitor electrical systems and equipment performance
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operation of electrical systems

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Chief Electrician or similar role in the mining industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and codes in a mining environment
- Valid electrical license or certification
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a team
