Macadamia Property Services (“MacProps”) is seeking to employ a Care Centre Manager (General Manager) for a Frail Care Facility. The position will be based at a retirement village in Tzaneen. The position is responsible for the overall management of all service providers (Care, catering, cleaning, Laundry, other) and ensuring Residents are receiving the best service possible.

This person msut have a broad set of skills and not be afraid of a challenge.

**Requirements**:
Experience, Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or Degree (Hospitality or Business degree preferred)
- Multi-lingual (English required, Afrikaans as a second language preferred). Speaking, reading, and writing required. Additional local languages preferential.
- Excellent Leadership Skills.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Organised and strong administrative skills.
- A sound understanding of Hospitality.and Elderly Care
- Attention to detail.
- Self-driven.
- Ability to focus on a range of different issues and priorities.
- Ability to work as part of a team and oversee a staffing compliment of 35 people.
- Systems driven.
- Extraordinary patience and empathy in dealing with older persons.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle stress and pressure.
- Enjoys working with people and can manage own time and balance requirements between administration and practical operations.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in leading a team (preferably in estate or Hospitality Management).
- Experience in finance / accounting required.
- Experience working with older persons will be an advantage.
