The position will be responsible for carrying out all administration duties related to the Athletics Club. To promote and encourage growth of the club through new member applications and participation in events. To manage the day‑to‑day duties involved in managing an athletics club as well as weekend events. To grow the Hollywood brand within the athletics community and ensure we are represented at both a social level and competitive level of athletics. Grow with our development plans and culture that allows you to further your career. You Bring Valid driver’s license. Athletics Experience. A Bonus To Have Relevant Degree/Diploma. What You’ll Do For The Brand Administrative tasks for the Club. Recruit new members. Register members with the Hollywood Athletics Club and on the Athletics South Africa Database. Source races for members to participate in. Organise weekly Training Runs and Time Trials. Plan waterpoints and organise volunteers for events. Set up branding at all races for Club Members to sit and socialise after the race. Record weekly attendance and results for submission to the website. Communicate with KZN Athletics regarding new members and licenses. Liaise with other coaches, race directors and clubs pushing our club and brand and integrating us into the athletics environment.
