What will you do? Manage client investment portfolios Portfolio construction Build an asset base / business development Maintain client relationships Align individual client portfolios with model portfolios Monitor individual portfolios and dealing with market movements and research Obtain client instructions with regards to corporate actions, dividends etc. Completion of new client mandates What will make you successful in this role? Knowledge of the Private Client industry Offshore trading knowledge Stockbrocking Qualification and experience Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the investment management industry (preferably with an established client base) Knowledge and experience in the management of equities, multi‑asset class portfolios, portfolio construction and understanding trade‑offs in risk and return Post graduate degree (B.Sc., B.Com. or B.Bus.Sc.) Relevant Regulatory exam qualification RE 5 applicable to CAT II Understanding and knowledge of the FAIS Act. Studying towards a relevant post graduate qualification would be advantageous (CFA, CFP, FRM) Knowledge and skills Fully bilingual The ability to set and maintain high work standards Previous related experience, preferably within wealth management or stockbroking Results orientation / self‑starter Good interpersonal and communication skills An understanding of the financial markets Integrity in conducting all business activities The ability to promote the organization & self Personal qualities Strong numerical orientation Highly organized with a high level of customer focus Accurate and detail orientated Critical and analytical capability Ability to perform well under pressure and show maturity, confidence and resilience Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills Pro‑Active approach to work, clients, problem solving Learning agility and curiosity Assertive Passionate ownership for results Build a successful career with us We’re all about building strong, lasting relationships with our employees.
