AI Architect / Product Manager (Mid-Level) At iOCO we are passionate about enabling digital transformation through intelligent technology solutions. Location: Cape Town, South Africa What you'll do: Develop and implement AI models and intelligent automation solutions to meet business requirements. Manage specific AI product features, including planning, prioritization, and coordination with development and engineering teams. Monitor AI system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize for accuracy, speed, and scalability. Support Senior AI Architects and data teams with research, data analysis, and proof-of-concept development. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure alignment with overall architecture principles. Stay current with AI trends, cloud technologies, and data science methodologies to guide strategic product direction. Your Expertise: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an AI Architect, Product Manager, or related role. Proven experience in AI model development, data-driven decision-making, and product lifecycle management. Experience with machine learning frameworks, cloud-based AI tools, and agile development environments. Technical Competencies: Understanding of AI/ML principles, data pipelines, and model deployment. Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure AI, AWS SageMaker, or Google Vertex AI). Proficiency with Python, R, or similar languages used in AI modeling. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Qualifications: NQF Level 6 or higher tertiary qualification in Information Communication Technology (ICT) or related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science). Cloud certification (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) preferred. Attributes for Success: Strategic thinker with a strong technical foundation. Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills. Passionate about innovation, continuous learning, and emerging technologies.
