The purpose of the role is to provide new and existing clients with professional and relevant financial advice, planning and products (sales) that are suited to their needs and requirements. Undertake the procurement of sustainable business of a high quality, in accordance with the business targets set. Maintain and service these clients as part of a long-term relationship which builds loyalty to the brand and generates ongoing advice and sales. Key Responsibilities: Business Growth: Assist in growing the Sanlam Adviser Business. Support sales and growth by applying knowledge of market segmentation and customer profiles. Achieve targets related to revenue, activity quotas, and brand promotion while ensuring fair treatment of customers. Networking and Lead Generation: Engage in face-to-face interactions, social or business networking, prospecting new clients through creative opportunities, and strengthening existing relationships. Utilize social media and existing client bases for marketing and sales opportunities. Client Consultations and Sales: Conduct compliant client interactions, comprehensive fact-finding, financial needs analysis, and provide sound financial advice. Present solutions professionally and review portfolios annually. Client Service: Maintain ethical, courteous, and professional interactions, aiming for excellent service and building long-term relationships. Monitoring and Reporting: Document activities such as contacts, consultations, and revenue against targets weekly/monthly for performance tracking. Qualifications and Experience: Grade 12 FAIS "Fit and Proper" certification and Regulatory Examination passed if registered with FSCA for over 24 months. Knowledge and Skills: Financial advice, client relationship management, compliance, financial planning, and recommendations. Personal Attributes: Effective communication, tech-savviness, action orientation, interpersonal skills. Core Competencies: Collaboration, results-driven, innovation.
