Join to apply for the Inside Sales role at Innomotics Overview Title: Inside Sales Location: Midrand, ZA, 1685 Department: Inside Sales Professional Company: Innomotics – a global motion engineering leader with a portfolio including low and high voltage motors, geared motors, medium voltage variable speed drives, services and engineered solutions for mining and related industries. Responsibilities Managing incoming sales requests Supporting quotations and order processing Maintaining customer data in the CRM tool Assisting the sales team and sales partners with day-to-day activities when required Providing basic technical and commercial support to maintain customer satisfaction and revenue growth Processing customer orders Verifying stock levels Sales & accounts: Handling inbound leads and customer accounts (EPCs, OEMs, end users, distributors); maintain regular contact and seek upsell or repeat business Quotes: Configure, prepare and check quotes for the sales team and customers in the assigned territory, industry, or accounts Orders: Convert approved quotes into orders and manage delivery dates, including technical/commercial clarifications and export controls CRM & reporting: Keep CRM records up to date; produce basic pipeline, forecast, orders and key accounts reports for the Geared Motors Regional Business Development Manager Technical support: Be the first point of contact for product-related enquiries and basic troubleshooting; escalate complex issues to engineering Market support: Conduct desk research on competitors and market trends; gather customer needs for new opportunities; support product/marketing campaigns Collaboration: Work with Marketing, Innomotics ZA assembly centre and Finance to ensure smooth order execution and policy compliance; assist with stock forecasting when needed Qualifications & Competencies Minimum 5 years’ experience in the commercial sales environment with focus on geared motors equipment and solutions Understanding of key business functions including finance, marketing, and operations Familiarity with Innomotics portfolio Experience preparing quotes, entering orders in an ERP, managing delivery dates and following orders through to delivery Clear written and verbal communication for internal stakeholders and customers (phone, email, virtual meetings) Who We’re Looking For Self-organised: Prioritises tasks, manages competing deadlines and keeps pipeline and order flow visible Collaboration: Works well across Marketing, Assembly/Logistics, Quotation and Finance to ensure smooth execution Ownership & Accountability: Proactive in identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities and following them through from start to finish Customer centricity: Keeps customer satisfaction at the centre of all you do Reliable: handles pressure calmly Location Office-based, in Midrand Johannesburg Job function Sales and Business Development Industries: Machinery Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
