Key Responsibilities Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering: Engage business units (Procurement, Sales, Finance, Operations) to understand and document business processes and pain points. Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications. Develop use cases, user stories, process maps, and data flow diagrams. Analyse and model current vs. future state processes to identify automation and optimization opportunities. Technical and Systems Analysis: Evaluate and document integration needs across ERP, BI, WMS, and cloud platforms. Collaborate with developers and systems architects to design feasible, scalable solutions. Validate system designs against business requirements. Project Management: Support or lead IT project planning and execution, including scoping, scheduling, and budgeting. Manage small-to-medium sized IT initiatives end-to-end (e.g., reporting dashboards, workflow automations, system enhancements). Track progress, manage risks/issues, and report on milestones. Work with external vendors and internal teams to coordinate deliverables. Testing and Quality Assurance: Define test scenarios, coordinate UAT, and validate outputs against expected outcomes. Work with QA resources to ensure issues are logged, tracked, and resolved Change Management and Support: Support training and onboarding of users to new systems and processes. Act as a subject matter expert for implemented tools and platforms. Develop documentation, SOPs, and support guides. Educational: Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. Project management certification (Agile, PMP, PRINCE2) is a strong plus. Experience: 35+ years in business analysis or systems analysis within IT environments. Experience in managing or coordinating technical projects. Familiarity with ERP systems, databases, APIs, and BI/reporting tools. Technical and Soft Skills: Proficient in requirements gathering and documentation (BPMN/UML/BRD formats). Strong SQL/data analysis skills or exposure to tools like Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau. Good understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC, Agile). Confident stakeholder engagement and presentation abilities. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
