The Client is a fast-growing Digital Media Company. They offer a full spectrum of editorial and marketing services to leading publishers across the globe, including content creation, content amplification, content delivery, and monetization. Overall, they reach, entertain, and monetize 30,000,000+ users per month across any digital channel, mobile and desktop, social, native. We're seeking an exceptional, hands-on Senior Developer / CTO to join their innovative digital media and advertising company. As the sole technical leader, you'll be responsible for all aspects of our technology strategy and implementation. Key Responsibilities: Drive technological vision from conception to execution Collect and analyze business requirements to inform technology decisions Scout and evaluate new technologies to enhance their competitive edge Design and implement the architecture for all their systems and applications Develop custom tools for editorial / copywriting workflows and KPI dashboards Manage and optimize their backend infrastructure and databases Integrate and maintain connections with various advertising platform APIs Handle all aspects of development, including coding, testing, and deployment Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of their technical infrastructure Minimum Requirements: 4+ years of experience in full-stack development, with at least 1 year in a senior or leadership role Proven track record of single-handedly designing, developing, and maintaining complex systems Strong problem-solving skills and ability to architect scalable solutions Excellent communication skills to bridge technical concepts with business needs Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred Technical Skills Required: BackEnd-Stack Development: Strong proficiency in PHP for backend development AI and Machine Learning: OpenAI integration for advanced text processing and generation API Integration: Experience with advertising platforms (Meta, Twitter, Outbrain, TikTok, etc.) Data Management: Airtable for flexible, collaborative databases Database Management: AWS Relational Databases for structured data storage Pinecone Semantic DB for vector embeddings and similarity search Cloud Infrastructure: AWS servers for hosting and scaling applications CMS: WordPress development and customization If you're a tech polymath who thrives on end-to-end ownership of projects and is passionate about leveraging technology to drive innovation in digital media and advertising, we want to hear from you.
