Duties & Responsibilities Your Role – What You’ll Do As a Solar Sales Consultant , you’ll be the face of the business— driving our mission to bring solar energy savings to South African homes and businesses. This is an exciting, fast-paced role where every day brings new opportunities to connect, sell, and make a difference. Key Responsibilities: Engage and educate potential customers on the benefits of solar solutions. Identify customer needs and recommend customized energy packages. Generate and qualify leads through networking, cold calling, and digital outreach . Conduct site assessments and prepare tailored quotes and proposals. Present, promote, and sell Metrowatt’s products with confidence and enthusiasm. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences. Build long-lasting client relationships that drive repeat and referral business. Track sales activities and maintain an active sales pipeline. Desired Experience & Qualification What You’ll Need to Succeed Minimum 2years’ sales experience – ideally in solar, fibre, or other technical industries . Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. A proven ability to close deals and exceed targets. Self-motivated and goal-driven with excellent time management. Valid driver’s license and reliable transport . Passion for renewable energy and technology .
