Takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is looking for a highly talented Franchise Manager to join our Takealot Delivery Team in Cape Town , reporting to the Regional Franchise Operations Manager (Coastal) . Your responsibilities will include Assisting in the setting up of SOPs for all clients across the delivery platform Constantly monitor and upgrade SOPs where necessary Assist with the training and set up of new franchises Train SOPs at a franchisee level Monitor, manage and maintain the required franchise service levels Adherence of franchisees to hub setup manual and franchise agreement Set and manage KPIs at franchise level Regular audits to assess and measure process and execution performance Local travel in and around an allocated region, as well as traveling to allocated regional hubs quarterly Driving the company policies, procedures and brand standards through regular auditing processes Train and guide franchisees towards improved business operations, act as a consultant to the franchisee to drive business improvement and success Assist franchisees in the training of their employees Monitoring and measuring hub performance and productivity against their required service level agreement through system checks and reporting analysis Presenting solutions to solve problems to help drive the momentum and success of the franchise businesses A franchise manager must be the ‘protector of the brand’ at all times, working towards brand recognition and business growth Attributes required High energy, self‑starter Execution bias Understand how technology works for business Project management System and process oriented Attention to detail while still seeing the bigger picture Understand convenience and customer service Strong analytical and critical thinking, ability to use data to make informed decisions, identify the root cause and resolve problems Comfortable with change and an excellent team player Low on ego, high on delivery and execution Organization and sound communication will be key success factors of a franchise manager Minimum qualification and experience requirements Matric (grade 12) certificate or similar 3 years top management experience Microsoft Office experience in Word, Excel and PowerPoint Training experience will be beneficial Operational experience managing national or regional operations Previous hospitality/retail franchise working experience will be advantageous Previous experience in the logistics industry is not required Proven track record in delivery and execution IT or tech savvy will be advantageous Why Join TFS Purpose‑driven impact : Transform lives through logistics innovation Advanced technology : Work with cutting‑edge systems in a fast‑paced environment Career growth : Thrive in an agile space that champions continuous improvement Inclusive culture : Your unique perspective drives extraordinary results At TFS, your growth is our growth.
