Senior Art Director Role Profile Key Purpose: Ability to interrogate the brief and strategy in order to produce world‑class ideas, craft art direction and results on all conventional and unconventional media types for their client/potential client. Responsibilities Creative Assist CDs in building Hunt Lascaries’ creative reputation. Accountable for ensuring all creative output consistently meets the highest quality standards. Present creative work internally and externally clearly, professionally and impactfully. Produce and craft original concepts and art direction proactively and in response to creative briefs of existing or potential clients. Work with Strategy & Account Management to understand clients’ brand and manage projects in a way that supports the delivery of iconic work. Encourage and facilitate collaboration within the creative department and other departments. Stay aware of current trends, popular culture, ideas, work to confidently stay ahead of the curve and stay relevant and contemporary. Continuously develop and refine craft, demonstrating passion for the work. Contribute to local and international awards shop window. Business Management Accurate recording of work time. Participate in new business pitches and business development when required. Responsibility to spread positive sentiment and not exacerbate negative sentiments damaging Hunt Lascaries’ reputation. Help develop the creative department to anticipate and reflect changing needs through on‑the‑job development, training, and initiatives. Provide feedback to Creative Director on improvements. Support and involve team members to resolve issues. Encourage all members to seek collaborative ways to make Hunt Lascaries a great place to work. Knowledge and Experience Required +5 years as an Art Director in a leading agency or company generating world‑class ideas and art direction for Hunt Lascaries and its clients or potential clients. Skills and Educational Requirements Strategically minded. Technical understanding of TV & content production, edits, sound, music, voice and direction. Optional Extras Influencer, opinion leader, blog site, editorial experience, poetry, After Effects, 3D rendering, illustration, editing, design, songwriter, sound production, artist.
