Full‑time position available from 1 January 2026: Occupational Therapist. Minimum Requirements Current HPCSA‑registered Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 3 years of experience. Trained in Ayres Sensory Integration (ASI). Additional training, such as DIR Floortime or the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) approach, would be advantageous. A broad understanding of various barriers to learning and support. Current updated knowledge in the field of occupational therapy and continuous professional development. Experience working in an LSEN/remedial school environment or a similar capacity in a mainstream school. Experience working with children with various learning barriers, including SLDs, ASD, and ADHD. Experience working within a multidisciplinary team. Experience in providing OT‑related support and guidance to teachers, as well as delivering parent talks. Personal Attributes & Professional Skills Proficient skills in OT related administration tasks, including administration of assessments, report writing, progress notes, classroom observation notes, etc. Values‑Driven: Committed to upholding the ethos, culture, and values of the school. Collaborative & Growth‑Focused: Builds positive relationships, works well within a multidisciplinary team, and embraces continuous learning. Stakeholder Engagement: Builds supportive relationships with pupils, parents, staff, and the wider school community. Works well under pressure and is flexible, adaptable and open to change. Computer literate – knowledge of school‑related software programs, like Ed Admin, would be advantageous.
