You’ll coordinate, solve, finesse, and lead—before, during, and after the curtain rises on a group experience. Your sphere: Taking charge of land tours and events—start to finish, margin to memory Traveling alongside groups to ensure on-the-ground coordination runs tight and tension-free Supporting every detail from travel documentation to supplier standards and service-level agreements Keeping travel files accurate, profitable, and always guest-ready Liaising with reservations and ops managers to balance commercial savvy with exceptional delivery Collaborating with accounts to monitor debtors and keep financials neat Alerting the right people fast during emergencies—you know who, what, and how to communicate, without flinching Pitching process tweaks and smart ideas that make guest experiences better What’s in your travel bag: 4–5 years of experience in inbound consulting or group travel Knowledge of travel systems (Tourplan, WETU, Excel, Teams) and the confidence to learn anything else you need Sharp commercial understanding—how to protect margins without compromising magic Stellar admin game, master-level multitasking, and just the right mix of fire and flexibility Regionally grounded knowledge of South, Southern, and East Africa Crisis smarts: calm, clear, decisive Who you are: Detail-obsessed but always seeing the bigger picture A great collaborator, a clear communicator, and an effortless relationship-builder Wired for service, fluent in “let me handle that” Naturally proactive, and just as comfortable taking direction as giving it Someone who can design unforgettable journeys—and hold steady when things get unpredictable This isn’t about running from behind the desk.
