A reputable organisation in George is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Stock Controller to join their operations team. This role is ideal for a hands‑on professional with experience in stock management who thrives in maintaining accuracy solving problems and ensuring smooth operational processes. Key Responsibilities Maintain and monitor accurate stock records including stock in / out transfers and returns Conduct cycle counts and full stock takes to ensure the integrity of stock data Investigate variances and investigate discrepancies when necessary Collaborate with procurement warehouse and operations teams to manage stock levels effectively Maintain system records and ensure that documentation is complete and up to date Assist with implementing stock control systems and continuous improvement initiatives Prepare and present reports on stock performance losses and reorder requirements Requirements National Diploma or higher in Logistics Inventory Management or a related field 23 years experience in a stock control or inventory-related role Strong understanding of inventory management processes and systems Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management software Strong attention to detail accuracy and problem‑solving abilities Good communication and teamwork skills Why Join This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and reputable organisation where your skills will directly impact efficiency and operational excellence.
