Job description: The Company currently has a vacancy for a reliable, attentive to detail and process-driven individual to join the Real Steel department. Duties and responsibilities include: Process daily stock orders Complete Inventory cycle counts on stock items Conduct inventory stock take when required Offloading of stock deliveries by suppliers Checking truck loads before deliveries (sign and dispatch) Receipting of deliveries Picking products for dispatch Cut steel products according to orders using a steel saw Maintain minimum and maximum stock quantities Adhere to Health and Safety regulations General Housekeeping Assist with adhoc yard duties Applicants must have the following qualifying criteria: Grade 12 preferably with Mathematics or Accountancy At least 5-8 years’ experience in a similar position Computer proficiency; packages required : MS Office with Excel Ability to work under pressure without supervision Be prepared to work after-hours, overtime including weekends Gantry crane licence will be advantageous Knowledge about steel will be advantageous Qualifying Attributes Good communication skills both written and verbal Strong attention to detail and accuracy Prepared to work overtime when required Ability to multi-task and manage a demanding workload in a pressurised environment Ability to effectively communicate with people on all levels Be self-motivated and results driven Disciplined in following procedures when executing tasks Physically mobile and energetic Be assertive and have a mature approach Be able to work both independently and in a team Good time management skills High work standards Ability to follow rules Be organised and keep their work area neat and tidy Logical and detail orientated methodologies Commitment to a strong business ethic and integrity Attention to detail Deadline driven Organizational skills
