Vector’s vehicle fleet includes a food industry first in ‘multi-temperature’ vehicles enabling the company to service business across frozen, chilled, and ambient temperature zones on a single delivery. Job Purpose To investigate, collect, and preserve physical evidence, and prepare written reports of the investigation. Key Responsibilities Conduct investigations on behalf of Vector Logistics into matters committed against the Company or its employees. Investigate offences committed by Company employees and contractors. Make recommendations to Management based on investigation outcomes. Review collected local intelligence data. Conduct investigations as directed by the Risk & Security Manager. Review policies and procedures related to security and advise management on minimizing security risks. Regularly test documented security procedures for employee compliance. Follow all South African laws pertaining to the performance of duty. Key Relationships Internal: Employees, Management External: Customers Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Qualifications and Experience Grade 12 and Risk Management qualification or studying towards it (mandatory). PSIRA certification. No criminal convictions. Ability to prepare detailed reports with recommendations for security improvements. Good communication skills in English. Extensive investigation experience. Police background involving investigations and court presentations. Skills and Competencies At least 3 years of investigation experience. Proven leadership skills.
