Who We Are Looking For We are looking for an experienced and energetic Operations Duty Manager who thrives in a busy, customer-facing environment. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with strong operational insight, a commitment to excellence and the ability to make quick, effective decisions. You’ll have a proven track record in hospitality or retail management and a passion for delivering outstanding service. What You Will Do In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across all departments. You will act as the key point of contact during your shift, maintaining high standards of service, safety and efficiency.Your responsibilities will include: Overseeing and coordinating all operational activities on site Monitoring service delivery and guest satisfaction Managing and supporting staff to ensure consistent performance Handling guest queries, complaints and operational issues effectively Enforcing company policies, health, safety and compliance standards Supporting management in achieving operational and business goals What You Need Matric (Grade 12) 3-Year Hotel School Diploma or equivalent qualification Minimum 5 years’ experience in the hospitality or retail industry At least 3 years in a management role Previous duty management experience is advantageous Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays A proactive, guest-focused approach and the ability to perform under pressure
